Asmaie International grew from our founder’s experience in the food trade across Afghanistan and Uzbekistan. After immigrating to the United States in 1998, he returned to the industry in 2002, launching a wholesale business from the family garage with help from his sons.
The name honors Koh-e Asamai, also known as Asmaie Hill, a historic mountain in Kabul and a lasting connection to the family’s roots.
